- 2. Drop Shipping allows direct delivery of goods from supplier to customer without going through the retailer’s warehouse. Here is the steps to activate drop shipping in Odoo 12. Configuration Purchase -> Configuration -> Settings
- 5. For order specific routes on sale order lines, Sales -> Configuration -> Settings This is not a important step. If you checked order-specific route on sale, then you need to select route on each order lines. If you skip this step, then drop shipping will apply to all sale order lines.
- 7. Create a quotation and select Routes as Drop ship in order lines.
- 9. (route field will be invisible in view If you didn’t check order specific route in settings. But it will set as drop ship in default.) When a sale order with products to drop ship is confirmed a request for quotation is generated by Odoo to buy the product to the vendor.
- 11. If you confirm that request for quotation into a purchase order, it will create a transfer from your vendor directly to your customer.
- 14. Drop ship Address set as customer location(i.e, transfer from vendor to customer). The products doesn’t go through your own stock.
- 15. In sale order transfer is set as delivery order.
