Effective Presentations Avoid Movement of slide elements while presenting Why?? -It distracts the audience Do’s.. - The text SHOULD appear on the correct spot on the slides
Effective Presentations Select.. Graphics carefully Only use if.. -adds to message on the slide Remember -Clip arts/graphics: distract, if not add to message
Effective Presentations Use.. Proper chart (expresses the purpose) GREAT way to present info if used properly.. It’s the best way to go!! For complex ideas --In an overall graph, split a graph (smaller amts of data)
Effective Presentations Finally Practise, Practise, Practise..!! Best way to be comfortable— -Actually feel prepared -Practice your speech, as planned .. -But do not memorise Why?? A memorised speech sounds “canned ” Remember A GOOD PRESENTATION IS MORE LIKE A CONVERSATION
