An electric circuit is made up of a battery, wires, a switch, and a bulb that is connected so that electricity can flow from the battery through the wires and bulb and back to complete the circuit, causing the bulb to light. Adding more batteries increases the electricity flowing through the circuit, making the bulb brighter, while removing or breaking the connection stops the electricity from flowing and causes the bulb to go dark.
