As our topic for the EUMIND project is eateries, we visited
many food joints in the region of Powai to know about the
likes and dislikes of the customers visiting these food
joints.We visited a popular restaurant, “Gurukripa” and a
local food joint, “Ungli Chaat”.

Interview
We visited the food joints and the restaurants after
preparing a questionnaire. With the permission of some
customers we could record their interviews and as for
the others, we only wrote down their answers as they
wished to be anonymous.
The next slide will show you the videos of the interviews
taken in Gurukripa restaurant and Ungli Chaat food
joint respectively.

Many questions were asked and the customers being
supportive, responded well. Some of the questons we
asked are listed as follows:
• Are you satisfied with the ambience of this place?
As for the restaurant, the ambience was one of the very
attractive features which attracted customers like a moth
to a flame.
The customers were clearly dissatisfied with the ambience
of the local food joint and felt that many improvements
could be made.
• How frequently do you visit this place?
The customers preferred home delivery from the restaurants
over visiting the place. They would visit these restuarants once
a month at the most.
As for the food joints, the customers visited them quite often,
nearly thrice a week.
• Do you think the prices of the food items are reasonable?
The prices of the food joint as well as the restaurant were
reasonable in the perspective of the customers.
• Could there be any more food joints in this region?
Every customer felt that there could definitely be some more
food joints and restaurants in the region.
After conducting the survey, we can conclude that in
general; the customers are satisfied with the prices of the
food items, the hygiene of the place and most
importantly, the quality of food served.
The customers were so satisfied with the restaurant and
the food joint that they would surely recommend those to
their relatives or friends visiting the region for the first
time.
