Utilizing a VNX VG8 Series Gateway with VNX5700 block storage platforms, EMC produced industry bests of 497,623 SPECsfs2008 NFSv3 operations per second and .96 milliseconds in overall response time. EMC handily beat out HP (the previous leader) by 49% in throughput and over 40% in lower overall response time, and buried third-place NetApp with over 160% better throughput and 18% less overall response time.
