 Had a induction program with the HR Team
 Was explained about the company policies, hierarchy structure and
procedures.
 Confirmation policy document was given
 On boarding procedure was carried out
 Got introduced to the senior folks/managers of the company
 Got introduced with the peers (90 % of them were from IT
background)
 Saw the working culture and environment
 Explained about technology
 Got introduced with Trainer
 Assigned with some initial activities like technical presentation, quiz
etc
 No idea about the work that is to be done
 No practical experience in developing applicationsUnderstanding : No proper technical knowledge,
No real time experience,
No clear idea about the work

 Didn’t get a chance to see.

 Found difficulty in understanding the organization procedures and
policy
 Fear about senior folks/managers and their expectations on her
 Fear of learning new technology
 Fear of mingling with the peers who were already having enough
computer knowledge
 Fear of adopting to new culture and environment where everything
is different
 Fear of completing her assignments
 Fear of what if she is unsuccessful in exposing her talents
 Expectation of getting a good friends in the company
 Expectations from the trainer (to help her in learning the
technology from basics)
 No clear idea about the career growth
 Not fully prepared
Understanding : Stressed, Frightened, Not prepared
FEEL
 She need to get in touch with the respective HR Team to
understand the organization procedures well
 She can have a casual chat with the senior folks/manager so that
she can know about their experience in the industry
 She can undergo technical training within the organization
 She can develop a friendly relationship with her peers
 She can try her best in completing the assignments. And if she find
difficult, she can always seek help from her peers or managers
 Since she can always learn from failures, She can avoid thinking it
 She can try helping others , so that she will get more friends
 She can always approach her trainer for any queries. She should
not feel bad to ask questions and can clarify her doubts anytime
 She can sit with senior folks to have a gist about the career
growth.
Understanding : Can approach people for any help, Avoid being shy
INSIGHTS
 Though there is no great challenges involved, Nicky is
making herself in an uncomfortable situation.
 She is very much worried about the outcome.
 She is scared to approach people
 She didn’t take any effort in attaining technical excellence
 Wasted most of the time in thinking but not in execution
