This paper explores the integration of distributed generation (DG) in distribution systems (DS) to enhance performance and maximize economic, environmental, and technical benefits. Utilizing the Whale Optimization Algorithm (WOA), it compares various optimization techniques to determine optimal DG allocation, size, and site, focusing on factors like transmission efficiency, reactive power loss, and voltage deviation. Results demonstrate that proper DG integration can reduce power losses and improve voltage stability, which is vital for the economic viability of DS companies.
