The paper presents an Energy Location Aware Routing Protocol (ELARP) for wireless multimedia sensor networks (WMSNs) aimed at improving quality of service (QoS) through efficient multipath routing. ELARP establishes three paths while considering the nodes' residual energy and proximity to the sink, thus enhancing bandwidth and reducing end-to-end delay. Simulation results indicate that ELARP significantly improves packet delivery ratio and QoS for multimedia data in WMSNs.
