Presentations (Wed/Fri) • Worth 25 points, graded on slide design and coherence of points/ideas. • Oral communication = professional communication (chance to practice) • Audience: us! • Purpose: Explain your issue, discuss at which stasis point(s) it’s stalled and what would need to happen to move the issue forward. • 5 minutes MAX (time yourself) • Upload your slideshow to slideshare.net and send me the link before class.

- 9. Tips for Speaking • Memorize your presentation (or at least talking points). • Talk TO the audience. (Don’t stare up at the slides.) • Breathe. Maintain presence. Pause rather than “um.”
