Submit work listed in red by 11:59 PM on the day and date indicated. Week Complete the Following Week 7 Monday 10/7 to Sunday 10/13 1. Read: Assignment Sheet. 2. Study: slidedocs 1, 2, and 3. 3. Blog Post 1 Due: Wednesday, October 9 Go to the course blog on the project page and follow directions. 4. Go to Tools & Resources, and from the options, decide the tool (s) you will use to create the slidecast, and do a test recording. If the test recording fails, follow the troubleshooting advice. 5. Decide how you will work. Will you write the script first and then design the slideshow or start with the slideshow and then write the script? 6. Follow the requirements and guidelines in slidedoc 1 to begin drafting the script or the slideshow based on how you decided to work. Week 8 Monday 10/14 to Sunday 10/20 1. Peer Review Slidecast and Pitch Letter Part 1 Due: Sunday, October 15. Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the directions to post your slidecast URL and pitch letter for the slidecast. 2. Peer Review Slidecast and Pitch Letter Part 2 Due: Tuesday, October 17. Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the directions to respond to a peer’s slidecast and pitch letter. 3. Follow the requirements and guidelines in slidedoc 2 to begin drafting your review and pitch letter (note the quick turnaround for peer review on this part of the assignment!).

Peer Review of Review and Pitch Letter Part 1 Due: Sunday, October 20 Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the directions to post your review and pitch letter for the review. 2. Peer Review of Review and Pitch Letter Part 2 Due: Tuesday, October 22. Go to the Peer Review Forum and follow the directions to respond to a peer’s review and pitch letter. PROJECT 2 DELIVERABLES DUE Sunday, October 22. Submit your work to the Project 3 Submission Drop Box as follows: Self-Evaluation. Compose in Word, then cut and paste into the submission box. Deliverable 1: Slidecast. Submit the URL and Pitch Letter for your slidecast as a Word or PDF file. Deliverable 2: Review. Submit the Review and Pitch as a Word or PDF file. To avoid a point penalty, verify your submission. Do not rely solely on BbLearn’s confirmation that your work submitted. You need to check that your work submitted correctly. This means you need to go back to the drop box after submitting your work and 1) open your document files, and 2) check that the URL you submitted will work by cutting and pasting it into a browser. If one or more files didn’t submit correctly, upload all of them again because I grade only the last submission.
