- 12. SYNONYM The smell of the flower was as compelling as a magnet's pull on a paper clip.
- 13. ANTONYM In Singapore, he is an eminent scientist even though he is virtually unknown in Japan.
- 14. EXPLANATION Eminent means the opposite of unknown. It means well known or famous.
