• I did learn a lot, and understand more concept, but let me state one (1) the political analysis, as we dig deeper, a statement
were planted on my heart and sold “Being bribed by those politician were like a slave wort about the money you were
paid, yet the progress of your community is still nowhere to be found” meaning to say if you’re paid you do not have the
audacity to complain even if your community crumble around and also on the voting day even if they murdering each
other you don’t have a choice but to vote because that politician bought your right to vote and you don’t have a voice.
Thank you very much ma’am  ~Hesham D. Macadato
• There’s so many things that I have learned throughout the journey in this subject and it is the things that we didn’t notice
that is common yet very important especially in our daily life situation and struggle and one of that is building confidence,
with the help of our kind professor I built my confidence like being able to stand in the front of the whole class because I
know that ma’am is consciously-kind which gives me more courage to stand, speak and show what I’m capable of, So,
that’s what I really appreciated from ma’am and also I’m so thankful to my dear classmates for understanding me and
making feel comfortable. ~ Abdulhalim A. Solaiman
• I did learn a lot from this subject specially learning how to use a proper English, and how to communicate properly. As a
person who loves English, I was motivated to learn more and practice my way of speaking, because I am kind of not so
good at using English language. Given also that I am not good at spelling that is why I am so interested in learning
English. Thankfully our professor has its own way of making the lesson more interesting and that helps a lot, she also
thought us how to be more respectful and responsible in any ways of life. I was also able to make myself more confident
despite my fear of speaking in front and that is a big achievement for me. The subject purposive communication has a lot
to offer and I am so grateful to be able to learn about it. Hopefully I can bring this knowledge that I’ve learn through out
the whole semester.~ Jashim B. Kurangking
Personal take away
• If I were to ask what I really learned about this subject GEC102, it would be how my confidence boost especially
standing in front because I’m a person fear it the most and also how to communicate as well although this subject is
already known but the thing is, we forgot how to apply it in our selves. ~ Jannah A.R. Dimasar
• The knowledge that I’ve gained from this subject, GEC102: Purposive Communication, is significant and helpful for me. I
learned how to communicate properly with others and how communication is important to us to understand and respect
each other despite of our differences in culture and beliefs. And the important of verbal and nonverbal cues in
communication, including body language, tone of voice, facial expression, etc. I also learned how to deliver a speech, how
to practice your public speech, or public speaking, and how to write an email properly, I learned a lot from you Ma’am and
I’m so thankful to you for sharing your knowledge to us.
~ Norhaime A. Emaduden
• In our daily life, communication helps us build relationships by allowing us to share our experiences, and needs, and helps
us connect to others. In this subject, Purposive communication what I have learned is that this subject taught me how to
effectively communicate with other people. Also, I learned that communication has a process, a process of listening,
speaking, reading and writing. ~ Nomairah Sacampong
