Environmental dynamics

Climate change is expected to significantly impact labor markets through changes in the natural environment. A new model called the Labor Market Specific Climate Change Policy (LMSCCP) aims to address these impacts through targeted policy interventions. The LMSCCP model proposes assessing climate risks for different occupations and geographic areas, and implementing policies like retraining programs, social safety nets and job creation to help workers and communities adapt.
