Drop Out – Coaching
at School
2016-2018
Coordinator: Poland
Partner countries: Spain, Turkey, Italy,
Romania, Estonia, Greece
Aims of the project:
Our main aim was to reduce the number of students
at risk of drop out by conducting a new system based
on teachers – coaches.
The second aim we achieved was reducing stress level
and overcoming anxiety within the classroom.
The other goal was improving creativity in using new ICT
technologies by working with robotics experts in Italy.
The next aim to gain was providing the motivation
of students for learning and socializing by showing
them how to plan their future career.
Providing the motivation of students for learning English
was our last aim to reach.
Co-funded by the Erasmus+
Programme of the European Union.
Kick off meeting in Spain,
November 2016
In this meeting all the project activities were
discussed. Before that meeting a satisfaction
questionnaire 'Students' Expectations' had been
prepared by teachers and during the first trans-
national meeting in Spain the results were sha-
red and discussed; the same questionnaire was
modified and repeated at the end of the pro-
ject. We also visited a beautiful town of Man-
resa and did some sightseeing in Barcelona.
Workshops T/L/T Activities Transnational meetings
The second transnational meeting
in Romania, May/June 2017
During that meeting an evaluation survey,
a draft of interviews for students and report
on the participant observation were elaborated.
The first year of the project was assessed and
the details of the coaching system was dis-
cussed. We also had the chance to learn some
culture and history of this beautiful country.
The final transnational meeting
in Poland, July 2018
In the meeting we assessed the outcomes
(strengths and weaknesses) of the whole
project using all the prepared in Romania ma-
terials which have been filled by the partici-
pants of the project. During this meeting we
also wrote the draft of final report. Additionally
all participants have been trained by a profes-
sional expert how to share the elaborated ma-
terials using educational networking sites. There
was also a possibility of learning some culture
and history of Poland and Warmia region.
Yoga and sport in Estonia, April/May 2018
The main aim of the meeting in Estonia was to
show the ways of reducing stress at school through
outdoor activities and motivating students through
different workshops. Teambuilding games in the
forest, rafting on the river, photo hunting game in
the village and football match of mixed teams en-
couraged the students to communicate with each
other in English.
Robotics and ICT skills in Italy,
November 2017
Students from all partner schools participating to
the meeting have been followed by a professional,
who held a questionnaire at the beginning and the
other one on the last day of the session in order to
show the impact on them. Our goal was to encour-
age collaboration and teamwork among students
using Robotics as a way of learning by doing.
Writing CV and job interview
in Greece, March 2017
In the activity eighteen students-visitors took part
from all partner schools. During the meeting there
was a workshop teaching students how to write
a proper CV and how to behave during a job in-
terview. Participants also wrote their stories entit-
led "I have a dream..." about their dreamed career
in the future. After the meeting in Volos the calen-
dar with photos from this visit was edited.
Seminar on life coaching in Turkey,
January 2017
There were teachers from Poland, Italy, Romania
and Estonia in Istanbul. Participants from Greece
were stuck in Volos by bad weather - incredible
but in Greece they had plenty of snow! The pic-
tures show our teachers at Turkish school working,
learning and having fun. They could also visit
some nice places in this lovely and historical city.
