This document summarizes two program reviews of an ESL program at a community college. The reviews analyzed student success and enrollment, and made recommendations. The first review in 2002 recommended improving entry-level language learning, full-time enrollment opportunities, and expanding curricular opportunities. The second review in 2007 recommended course outline reviews, evaluating program learning outcomes, conducting a student survey, and developing new curriculum, among other things. Both reviews aimed to improve student retention, persistence, and access to resources.
