Editor's Notes

  • #4: First a quick reminder…. Kortext and reading lists. Kortext are in the Quad this week 9-5.
  • #6: Due Week 4 – Presentations will be during lecture/seminar hours on Monday 23rd October. Slides must be in by midnight the day before (Sunday 22nd October) A Google site: - Good for getting an overview of the topic, different aspects, what they might include. Image results are useful for this too! Some sites are GCSE / A level Others e.g. Sky Sports. Telegraph, Huffington Post may highlight issues but not in great depth. Also date – Sky Sports report is 2012. Good starting point but need to go further
  • #9: TECHNOLOGY AND SPORT Break it down – lots of examples (lots more on sheet)
  • #11: Save to folder – you can print results, email them to yourself or export them into RefWorks (a reference management software you can use to store your articles and generate reference lists).
  • #12: Refer to assignment brief – this can be found in their SES1242 module area
  • #13: My Library > Referencing > Cite Them Right online
  • #14: Refer to worksheet – which is the correct way to reference a journal article?
  • #16: Lots more resources, helpsheets and contact details if you need help.
