This document discusses how to prepare Mars to be more habitable for a conference called Devcon50. It proposes using a distributed autonomous organization (DAO) and Ethereum network to coordinate various systems and actors to help keep global temperature rise below 2 degrees Celsius as called for in the Paris Agreement. Specifically, it envisions connecting manufacturers, smart cities, and "green humans" via an IoT sensor network and Ethereum validators running algorithms for carbon credit markets. This would represent the first planetary terraforming experiment driven by economic incentives on the blockchain.
