- 3. What is Ethics ? A set of moral principles or values. The discipline of dealing of what is good and bad and moral duty and obligation . A system of moral principles and perceptions about right vs wrong and resulting in a philosophy of conduct practiced by on Individual , group ,profession or culture.

Ethical standards in community development 1)Honesty: Honesty also involves being trustworthy ,loyal , fair, and sincere. 2)Loyalty: Loyalty in general use , is a devotion and faithfulness to a nation , cause , philosophy, country, group, or person. 3)fairness: Fairness is concerned with actions , processes, and consequences, that are morally right honorable and equitable. 4)Law Abiding: Ethical executives abide by laws rules and regulations relating's to their business activities.
- 5. 5)Leadership : Ethical leadership is leadership that is directed by respect for ethical beliefs and values and for the dignity and rights of others. 6)Respect for other : Respect for persons may perhaps be the most fundamental principles in all of ethics. 7)Concern for other: At the heart of ethics is a concern about something or someone other than ourselves and our own desires and self-interest. 8)Integrity : Integrity is the practice of being honest and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values.
- 6. 9)Promise keeping and trustworthiness : They are candid and forthcoming in supplying relevant information and correcting misapprehensions of facts , and they make every reasonable effort to fulfill the letter and spirit of their promises and commitments. 10) Commitment of Excellence : To improve your effectiveness as a leader , set goals for your store , your team and yourself. 11) Reputation and Morale : Build and protect and build the company’s good reputation and the morale of it’s employees. 12)Accountability : In ethics and governance , accountability is answerability, blameworthiness, liability and the expectation of account- giving.
