The social groups represented in my magazine are:

   • The stereotypical '16-20 year old males' of an urban society. I have only represented
males in my magazine because my research feedback was that more males read
hip-hop magazines than females so it was more suitable to go with this research and
create something males can relate to.

   • The 'big spender' type of urban youth. Many of them are into buying the latest
gadgets and expensive items in a bid to up their social status within their group of
friends and also within society. Although I have not included adverts for gadgets etc.,
I have got my main cover model wearing expensive clothing and a diamond watch
which appeals to this social group.

   • The social networking youth of today. My contents page has a page about "#Clique
on Twitter' and this represents the more modern and technologically advanced 16-20
year old of today because they would be on social networking sites on Twitter so I
have made the whole publication more interactive.

   • The aspirers category of the psychographic profile. This is the category of the people
who aspire to do something in life in order to gain more social status. They aim to
have more wealth and influence on society. They are represented well in my double
page spread because my article is about an artist who has gone from leading a
normal life (like most of the readers are), to being a well-known artist who is wealthy
       and recognised.
