- 1. Evaluation Question 4: Who would be the audience for your media product?
- 2. Target Audience The target audience for our product is teenagers because they can relate to our thriller the most because the main character is a teenager and I think that teenagers could understand her emotions throughout the film more than any other age group.
- 3. Gender Both genders would be the audience for our thriller because there is nothing in our thriller that excludes either gender. Although, the fact that our victim is female and the abductor is male could mean that women feel intimidated by our thriller. However, I do not believe that this should affect who watches our thriller and I think that both genders would watch it.
- 4. Social Groups There are no particular social groups that would want to watch our thriller however the victim is from a middle class family, so people from middle class families might want to watch it more because they can relate to it more.
- 5. Age The main age group that would watch our film is teenagers because our thriller is about teenagers and it is easy to relate to. Also, older people tend to not be as interested in the thriller genre and so wouldn’t watch our film. Children under 12 wouldn’t watch our film either because we have rated our a film a 12A because we feel that it may not be suitable for some younger children. Although, being a 12A means that a 12 year old can watch it in the cinema if accompanied by an adult which means that we are leaving it up to the parents to decide if the film is suitable or not. •
