Evolution vs. CreationismIs it fair that only one interpretation is taught?A presentation by: Sheena CleggSLC: Health and Medical
The Importance This topic is of importance to me because I’ve always pondered on why only one interpretation is shown to society.
I’m a strong believer in equality.
People should be able to decide on they’re own what they want to believe in, and only depicting the theory of evolution to them just gives them enough knowledge to believe that one view. EVOLUTIONEvolution is the belief that the human race evolved from apes.
It is Darwin’s theory and is also known as Darwinism.
Evolution is taught in the public school system. The Christian viewThis is the belief that there is an almighty God who created man.
Over 80% of the U.S believes in Creationism.
However, this view is not taught in the public school system. The Muslim viewThe Muslim society believes that “ Allah” created mankind.
Much of our society is Muslim.
Muslims believe they have evidence as well to believe what they believe. The Hindu viewThe Hindu’s believe in three Gods.
