Adjectives that would describe the documentary, 1916 Killing Fields, would be heart breaking, eye
opening, raw, gruesome, powerful, insightful, and heroic. So many brave men went into this war

I am proposing to conduct my self guided field trip at the San Francisco Bay Model Visitor Center in
Sausalito. The Bay Model is a 1.5 acre, indoor, three dimensional hydraulic tidal simulation model
covering the entire San Francisco Bay Estuary including the Sacramento and San Joaquin Rivers
Delta. The United States Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) created the model in 1957 to study
estuary circulation and flow, geometry, and the impact of anthropology. USACE was able to survey

Ponce City Market is a new development including retail, residential and commercial space that
repurposes the historic Sears Roebuck and Company building in the Old Fourth Ward district of
Atlanta.
The site has been in public use at least back to the 1860 s when it was a popular day trip for Atlantans
who wished to visit Ponce de Leon Springs for their reputed health benefits. The springs on the site
were named by Atlanta physician, Dr. Henry L. Wilson, for Juan Ponce de Leon, of Fountain of Youth
