This research investigates the lateral pressure exerted on vertical formwork systems using self-compacting concrete (SCC), emphasizing the importance of accurate pressure modeling in high-rise construction. Through laboratory experiments with piezoelectric sensors, the study aims to determine the pressure distribution of SCC compared to traditional concrete, while examining factors influencing formwork pressure, such as concrete height and casting methods. The findings highlight the critical need for proper formwork selection and alignment to mitigate risks in handling and installation.
