This document summarizes the results of PCMag's test of the fastest mobile networks in the United States in 2013. PCMag drove over 20,000 miles across 30 cities to test the speeds and reliability of AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Wireless' 4G LTE networks. The testing found that AT&T had the fastest overall speeds, while Verizon typically had more reliable connections. T-Mobile's network performed well in cities where it offered LTE coverage. Sprint is improving with its transition to LTE but did not win any individual cities. Overall, LTE networks are getting faster nationwide but still cannot provide a completely consistent home broadband-like experience.
