Celebration at King’s College,
Cambridge, England
King’s College at Cambridge University
in England has celebrated Lessons
and Carols since 1918. The British
Broadcasting Corporation (BBC)
broadcasts the service via radio and
television to millions of listeners and
viewers each year. The choir, made up
of boys and college students, sings a
variety of classic English carols as well
as newly-composed works.
Traditionally, the service at Cambridge
begins with the singing of the Anglican
carol, Once in Royal David’s City. The
first verse is sung by one of the boy
sopranos. The young boys do not
know who will sing the solo until a few
moments before the service starts and
they begin to process into the cathedral.
Tonight, we will begin by singing this
hymn congregationally. Because of its
beauty and emphasis on the Gospel,
Services of Lessons and Carols are now
celebrated across the world in hundreds
of churches each Christmas season.

Come and worship, come and worship;
Worship Christ, the newborn King!
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King;
Peace on earth, and mercy mild,
God and sinners reconciled!”
Joyful, all ye nations, rise,
Join the triumph of the skies;
With the angelic host proclaim,
“Christ is born in Bethlehem!”
Hark! the herald angels sing,
“Glory to the newborn King!”
O come, O come, Emmanuel
And ransom captive Israel,
That mourns in lonely exile here,
Until the Son of God appear.
Rejoice! Rejoice!
Emmanuel shall come to thee, O Israel!
Angels from the realms of glory,
Wing your flight o’er all the earth;
Ye who sang creation’s story
Now proclaim Messiah’s birth:
Come and worship, come and worship;
Worship Christ, the newborn King!

First Lesson
Genesis 3:8-15, 17-19
Rev. Lawrence Duhon
God tells sinful Adam that he has lost the life of Paradise and that his seed will
bruise the serpent’s head.
And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and
the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of
the garden. But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” And he
said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid
myself.” He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I
commanded you not to eat?” The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she
gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that
you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”
The Lord God said to the serpent,
“Because you have done this,
cursed are you above all livestock
and above all beasts of the field;
on your belly you shall go,
and dust you shall eat
all the days of your life.
I will put enmity between you and the woman,
and between your offspring and her offspring;
he shall bruise your head,
and you shall bruise his heel.”
And to Adam he said,
“Because you have listened to the voice of your wife
and have eaten of the tree
of which I commanded you,
‘You shall not eat of it,’
cursed is the ground because of you;
in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life;
thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you;
and you shall eat the plants of the field.
By the sweat of your face
you shall eat bread,
till you return to the ground,
for out of it you were taken;
for you are dust,
and to dust you shall return.”
Of the Father’s love begotten,
‘Ere the worlds began to be,
He is Alpha and Omega,
He the source, the ending He,
Of the things that are and have been
And that future years shall see,
Evermore and evermore.
O ye heights of Heav’n, adore Him;
Angel hosts, His praises sing;
All dominions, bow before Him
And extol our Lord and King.
Let no tongue on earth be silent,
Ev’ry voice in concert ring,
Evermore and evermore.
Christ, to Thee, with God the Father
And O Holy Ghost, to Thee,
Hymn and chant and high thanksgiving
And unwearied praises be:
Honor, glory and dominion
And eternal victory,
Evermore and evermore.

Second Lesson
Genesis 22:15-18
Rev. Tony Richmond
God promises to faithful Abraham that in his seed shall all the nations of the
earth be blessed.
And the angel of the Lord called to Abraham a second time from heaven and said,
“By myself I have sworn, declares the Lord,
because you have done this and have not withheld your son, your only son,
I will surely bless you, and I will surely multiply your offspring
as the stars of heaven and as the sand that is on the seashore.
And your offspring shall possess the gate of his enemies,
and in your offspring shall all the nations of the earth be blessed,
because you have obeyed my voice.”
Good Christian men, rejoice,
With heart and soul and voice!
Give ye heed to what we say:
News! News! Jesus Christ is born today!
Ox and ass before him bow,
And He is in the manger now:
Christ is born today! Christ is born today!
Good Christian men, rejoice
With heart and soul and voice!
Now ye hear of endless bliss:
Joy! Joy! Jesus Christ was born for this!
He has opened heaven’s door,
And man is blessed forevermore.
Christ was born for this! Christ was born for this!
Good Christian men, rejoice,
With heart and soul and voice!
Now ye need not fear the grave:
Peace! Peace! Jesus Christ was born to save!
Calls you one and calls you all,
To gain His everlasting hall.
Christ was born to save! Christ was born to save!

Third Lesson
Isaiah 9:2, 6-7
Mrs. Amber McMillan
The prophet foretells the coming of the Saviour.
The people who walked in darkness
have seen a great light;
those who dwelt in a land of deep darkness,
on them has light shone.
For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon his shoulder,
and his name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of his government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over his kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
The zeal of the Lord of hosts will do this.
For unto us a Child is born, for unto us a Son is given;
For unto us a Child is born, and the government will be on His shoulder.
And His name will be called “Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God.”
And His name will be called “Everlasting Father, Prince of peace!”

Fourth Lesson
Isaiah 11:1-2, 6-9
Mr. Robby Williams
The Peace that Christ will bring is foreshown.
There shall come forth a shoot from the stump of Jesse,
and a branch from his roots shall bear fruit.
And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him,
the Spirit of wisdom and understanding,
the Spirit of counsel and might,
the Spirit of knowledge and the fear of the Lord.
The wolf shall dwell with the lamb,
and the leopard shall lie down with the young goat,
and the calf and the lion and the fattened calf together;
and a little child shall lead them.
The cow and the bear shall graze;
their young shall lie down together;
and the lion shall eat straw like the ox.
The nursing child shall play over the hole of the cobra,
and the weaned child shall put his hand on the adder’s den.
They shall not hurt or destroy
in all my holy mountain;
for the earth shall be full of the knowledge of the Lord
as the waters cover the sea.
The first Noel, the angels did say,
Was to certain poor shepherds in fields where they lay,
In fields where they lay keeping their sheep,
On a cold winter’s night that was so deep.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel!
Born is the King of Israel.
They looked up and saw a star
Shining in the east, beyond them far,
And to the earth it gave great light,
And so it continued both day and night.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel!
Born is the King of Israel.
Then let us all in one accord
Sing praises to our heavenly Lord,
That hath made heav’n and earth of naught,
And with His blood mankind hath bought.
Noel, Noel, Noel, Noel!
Born is the King of Israel.

Fifth Lesson
Luke 1:26-35, 38
Mr. Jack Bowen
The angel Gabriel salutes Mary.
In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,
to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David.
And the virgin’s name was Mary.
And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!”
But she was greatly troubled at the saying,
and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be.
And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.
And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.
He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High.
And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David,
and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.”
And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?”
And the angel answered her,
“The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you;
therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God.
And Mary said,
“Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.”
And the angel departed from her.
Gloria! Gloria!
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
Angels we have heard on high,
Sweetly singing o’er the plains
And the mountains in reply,
Echo back their joyous strains.
Shepherds, why this jubilee?
Why your joyous strains prolong?
Say what may the tidings be
Which inspire your heav’nly song?
Gloria! Gloria!
Gloria in excelsis Deo!
See within a manger laid,
Jesus, Lord of heav’n and earth!
Mary, Joseph, lend your aid,
With us sing our Savior’s birth.
Our God from heav’n and earth come down.
With heart and voice His praise resound.
Come to Bethlehem, and see
Him whose birth the angels sing;
Come, adore on bended knee
Christ the Lord, the newborn King.

Sixth Lesson
Luke 2:1-7
Dr. Michael Wright
Luke tells the birth of Jesus.
In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered.
This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria.
And all went to be registered, each to his own town.
And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth,
to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem,
because he was of the house and lineage of David,
to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.
And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth.
And she gave birth to her firstborn son
and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger,
because there was no place for them in the inn.
Infant holy, infant lowly, for a bed a cattle stall,
Oxen lowing, little knowing Christ the babe is Lord of all.
Swift are winging, angels singing, noels ringing, tidings bringing:
Christ the babe is Lord of all. Christ the babe is Lord of all.
Flocks were sleeping, shepherds keeping vigil till the morning new.
Saw the glory, heard the story, tidings of a gospel true.
Thus rejoicing, free from sorrow, praises voicing greet the morrow,
Christ the babe was born for you. Christ the babe was born for you.

Seventh Lesson
Luke 2:8-20
Rev. Ted Eaton
The shepherds go to the manger.
And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field,
keeping watch over their flock by night.
And an angel of the Lord appeared to them,
and the glory of the Lord shone around them,
and they were filled with great fear.
And the angel said to them,
“Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.
For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
And this will be a sign for you:
you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.”
And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host
praising God and saying,
“Glory to God in the highest,
and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!”
When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another,
“Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened,
which the Lord has made known to us.”
And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph,
and the baby lying in a manger. And when they saw it,
they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child.
And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them.
But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.
And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it
had been told them.

He is Born
Eighth Lesson
Matthew 2:1-12
Rev. Jack Gatewood
The wise men are led by the star to Jesus.
Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king,
behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying,
“Where is he who has been born king of the Jews?
For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.”
When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him;
and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people,
he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born.
They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet:
“‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah,
are by no means least among the rulers of Judah;
for from you shall come a ruler
who will shepherd my people Israel.’”
Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them
what time the star had appeared.
And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “Go and search diligently for the child,
and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.”
After listening to the king, they went on their way.
And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them
until it came to rest over the place where the child was.
When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy.
And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother,
and they fell down and worshiped him.
Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh.
And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by
another way.
I was a seeker for light in a dark world.
I looked for truth but settled for lies.
I had been blinded. I couldn’t see
’Til a star in Bethlehem sky opened my eyes.
I have seen the light shining in the darkness,
Bursting through the shadows, delivering the dawn.
I have seen the light whose holy name is Jesus.
His kingdom is forever. He reigns on heaven’s throne.
There in a manger, an innocent Baby.
Who could believe He was the One?
I can believe it. I know it’s true.
He changed my life. He is the Light. He is God’s Son!
I have seen the light shining in the darkness,
Bursting through the shadows, delivering the dawn.
I have seen the light whose holy name is Jesus.
His kingdom is forever. He reigns on heaven’s throne.
We must tell the world what we’ve seen today in Bethlehem.
He’s the promised King, we bow down and worship Him.
We will worship Christ the King!
I have seen the light shining in the darkness,
Bursting through the shadows, delivering the dawn.
I have seen the light whose holy name is Jesus.
His kingdom is forever. He reigns on heaven’s throne.
I have seen the light of the Lord!

I Have Seen the Light
Ninth Lesson
John 1:1-14
Rev. Keith Sanders
John unfolds the great mystery of the Incarnation.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
He was in the beginning with God.
All things were made through him, and without him was not any thing made that was made.
In him was life, and the life was the light of men.
The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.
There was a man sent from God, whose name was John.
He came as a witness, to bear witness about the light, that all might believe through him.
He was not the light, but came to bear witness about the light.
The true light, which gives light to everyone, was coming into the world.
He was in the world, and the world was made through him, yet the world did not know him.
He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name,
he gave the right to become children of God, who were born,
not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.
And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us,
and we have seen his glory,
glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.
Christmas angels sing all around us,
Spread good tidings over the earth,
Telling of the Child in the manger who is born;
He is the King of all kings.
King of Glory, hope for all nations,
Sent to earth to save and redeem.
Prince of peace, behold and adore;
The Son of God has come to set us free.
Celebrate, oh, sing hallelujah!
Raise the banner, dance and rejoice.
Celebrate the birth of Messiah;
He’s the Savior, King, the Lord of all.
Hosanna in the highest!
He is the One, God’s only Son, Emmanuel.
Who was and is and is to come, Emmanuel.
God here with us, forever and always.
Christmas angels sing all around us,
All creation hears what they say.
Bow before Him; come and behold
The Son of God, born on Christmas Day.

Worship
First Baptist Church of Keller seeks to be a Christ-centered worshiping community.
Our three Sunday Morning Services (8:00, 9:30, 11:00) celebrate the Gospel
through psalms, hymns, worship songs, Scripture readings, baptism, and the
Lord’s Supper. We believe that the entire Body of Christ, young and old, should
worship the Lord together. We desire our services to be welcoming to visitors and
hopefully lead them to worship Christ with us.
Grow
Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we seek to conform our lives to the image of
Christ. The Worship & Creative Arts Ministry is committed to helping our members
grow in their relationship with God and we believe that the Creative Arts are a
powerful means to do this. We believe that our members should continue to grow
spiritually, musically, and relationally and we assist in this through discipleship
classes, music education for children and adults, our Fine Arts Academy, and
regular times of fellowship.
Create
Music is a gift from God and we seek to worship Him through a variety of music.
We have opportunities to sing and play in choirs, bands, orchestras, and handbell
ensembles. We believe the diversity of our musical styles is a reflection of the
Body of Christ. Our musicians strive for excellence in all that we do, but we know
that our worship is acceptable to God only through the work of Christ. We have
many opportunities in the Creative Arts for children, students, and adults.
Serve
God calls us to join Him in His work of redemption in our community and around
the world. We believe that the Creative Arts give us a unique opportunity to
share the Gospel. The Worship & Creative Arts Ministry seeks to serve the Keller
community by being a place that celebrates and encourages the Arts. Each year
we schedule Music and Mission opportunities throughout DFW, the United States,
and across the world.

  • 4. Lessons & CarolsProclaiming the Gospel Based on an order of service designed in 1880, the Service of Lessons and Carols celebrates the Gospel story through Scripture Readings, Choral Anthems, and Congregational Carols. Lesson 1: God tells sinful Adam that he has lost the life of Paradise and that his seed will bruise the serpent’s head. (Genesis 3:8-15, 17-19) Lesson 2: God promises to faithful Abraham that in his seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed. (Genesis 22:15-18) Lesson 3: The prophet foretells the coming of the Saviour. (Isaiah 9:2, 6-7) Lesson 4: The peace that Christ will bring is foreshown. (Isaiah 11:1-2, 6-9) Lesson 5: The angel Gabriel salutes Mary. (Luke 1:26-35, 38) Lesson 6: Luke tells the birth of Jesus. (Luke 2:1, 3-7) Lesson 7: The shepherds go to the manger. (Luke 2:8-16) Lesson 8: The wise men are led by the star to Jesus. (Matthew 2:1-11) Lesson 9: John unfolds the great mystery of the Incarnation. (John 1:1-14) in Word & Song Celebration at King’s College, Cambridge, England King’s College at Cambridge University in England has celebrated Lessons and Carols since 1918. The British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) broadcasts the service via radio and television to millions of listeners and viewers each year. The choir, made up of boys and college students, sings a variety of classic English carols as well as newly-composed works. Traditionally, the service at Cambridge begins with the singing of the Anglican carol, Once in Royal David’s City. The first verse is sung by one of the boy sopranos. The young boys do not know who will sing the solo until a few moments before the service starts and they begin to process into the cathedral. Tonight, we will begin by singing this hymn congregationally. Because of its beauty and emphasis on the Gospel, Services of Lessons and Carols are now celebrated across the world in hundreds of churches each Christmas season.

  • 7. First Lesson Genesis 3:8-15, 17-19 Rev. Lawrence Duhon God tells sinful Adam that he has lost the life of Paradise and that his seed will bruise the serpent’s head. And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and the man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden. But the Lord God called to the man and said to him, “Where are you?” And he said, “I heard the sound of you in the garden, and I was afraid, because I was naked, and I hid myself.” He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten of the tree of which I commanded you not to eat?” The man said, “The woman whom you gave to be with me, she gave me fruit of the tree, and I ate.” Then the Lord God said to the woman, “What is this that you have done?” The woman said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” The Lord God said to the serpent, “Because you have done this, cursed are you above all livestock and above all beasts of the field; on your belly you shall go, and dust you shall eat all the days of your life. I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and her offspring; he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel.” And to Adam he said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife and have eaten of the tree of which I commanded you, ‘You shall not eat of it,’ cursed is the ground because of you; in pain you shall eat of it all the days of your life; thorns and thistles it shall bring forth for you; and you shall eat the plants of the field. By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, till you return to the ground, for out of it you were taken; for you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth, to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin’s name was Mary. And he came to her and said, “Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!” But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be. And the angel said to her, “Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God. And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus. He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David, and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end.” And Mary said to the angel, “How will this be, since I am a virgin?” And the angel answered her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy—the Son of God. And Mary said, “Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word.” And the angel departed from her.

And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David, to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child. And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth. And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with great fear. And the angel said to them, “Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord. And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger.” And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying, “Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!” When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, “Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us.” And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger. And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child. And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them. But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart. And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.

  • 21. Eighth Lesson Matthew 2:1-12 Rev. Jack Gatewood The wise men are led by the star to Jesus. Now after Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men from the east came to Jerusalem, saying, “Where is he who has been born king of the Jews? For we saw his star when it rose and have come to worship him.” When Herod the king heard this, he was troubled, and all Jerusalem with him; and assembling all the chief priests and scribes of the people, he inquired of them where the Christ was to be born. They told him, “In Bethlehem of Judea, for so it is written by the prophet: “‘And you, O Bethlehem, in the land of Judah, are by no means least among the rulers of Judah; for from you shall come a ruler who will shepherd my people Israel.’” Then Herod summoned the wise men secretly and ascertained from them what time the star had appeared. And he sent them to Bethlehem, saying, “Go and search diligently for the child, and when you have found him, bring me word, that I too may come and worship him.” After listening to the king, they went on their way. And behold, the star that they had seen when it rose went before them until it came to rest over the place where the child was. When they saw the star, they rejoiced exceedingly with great joy. And going into the house they saw the child with Mary his mother, and they fell down and worshiped him. Then, opening their treasures, they offered him gifts, gold and frankincense and myrrh. And being warned in a dream not to return to Herod, they departed to their own country by another way.
  • 22. I was a seeker for light in a dark world. I looked for truth but settled for lies. I had been blinded. I couldn’t see ’Til a star in Bethlehem sky opened my eyes. I have seen the light shining in the darkness, Bursting through the shadows, delivering the dawn. I have seen the light whose holy name is Jesus. His kingdom is forever. He reigns on heaven’s throne. There in a manger, an innocent Baby. Who could believe He was the One? I can believe it. I know it’s true. He changed my life. He is the Light. He is God’s Son! I have seen the light shining in the darkness, Bursting through the shadows, delivering the dawn. I have seen the light whose holy name is Jesus. His kingdom is forever. He reigns on heaven’s throne. We must tell the world what we’ve seen today in Bethlehem. He’s the promised King, we bow down and worship Him. We will worship Christ the King! I have seen the light shining in the darkness, Bursting through the shadows, delivering the dawn. I have seen the light whose holy name is Jesus. His kingdom is forever. He reigns on heaven’s throne. • 23. Ninth Lesson John 1:1-14 Rev. Keith Sanders John unfolds the great mystery of the Incarnation. But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God, who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we have seen his glory, glory as of the only Son from the Father, full of grace and truth.

  • 30. Worship First Baptist Church of Keller seeks to be a Christ-centered worshiping community. Our three Sunday Morning Services (8:00, 9:30, 11:00) celebrate the Gospel through psalms, hymns, worship songs, Scripture readings, baptism, and the Lord’s Supper. We believe that the entire Body of Christ, young and old, should worship the Lord together. We desire our services to be welcoming to visitors and hopefully lead them to worship Christ with us. Grow Through the work of the Holy Spirit, we seek to conform our lives to the image of Christ. The Worship & Creative Arts Ministry is committed to helping our members grow in their relationship with God and we believe that the Creative Arts are a powerful means to do this. We believe that our members should continue to grow spiritually, musically, and relationally and we assist in this through discipleship classes, music education for children and adults, our Fine Arts Academy, and regular times of fellowship. Create Music is a gift from God and we seek to worship Him through a variety of music. We have opportunities to sing and play in choirs, bands, orchestras, and handbell ensembles. We believe the diversity of our musical styles is a reflection of the Body of Christ. Our musicians strive for excellence in all that we do, but we know that our worship is acceptable to God only through the work of Christ. We have many opportunities in the Creative Arts for children, students, and adults. Serve God calls us to join Him in His work of redemption in our community and around the world. We believe that the Creative Arts give us a unique opportunity to share the Gospel. The Worship & Creative Arts Ministry seeks to serve the Keller community by being a place that celebrates and encourages the Arts. Each year we schedule Music and Mission opportunities throughout DFW, the United States, and across the world.
