  • #4: The Child Nutrition Reauthorization Act of 2004 Required school districts across the nation participating in the School Lunch program to form a committee with designated stakeholders. The committee's ongoing task was to develop a local school wellness policy, addressing physical activity, nutrition education, school based wellness activities, and nutrition guidelines for all foods available during the school day.
