Matthew Rogero Salford City College Eccles Sixth Form Centre BTEC Extended Diploma in Creative Media Production Unit 4: Final Major Project Proposal Form Media Format (film, documentary, motion graphics, photography, animation, graphic design etc) In my final major project I have chosen to do a football magazine, my football magazine will include a front cover, a contents page and a double page article. I have gathered several of images and ideas when it comes to planning and producing my magazine. My magazine will be mainly focused on women in the football industry and will feature a range of women football stars and there bio. I will also include history information about the sport and the legends of football. I will include a lot of very high quality of images of the football stars, several stadiums, football managers and also the legends of the sport. I will need to make it very eye catching towards my target audience. Synopsis of Idea (content, narrative, genre) My football magazine will have a front cover, contents page and a double page article about a specific topic. My front cover will feature lots of high quality images of football stars in the industry of women football. My front cover will have to be bold and very eye catching and also very colourful. The images for the front cover will certainly have to be very high quality images. So that they will be very appealing to the audience. My contents page will include several information about the industry of women football, history about it and the stars that I will include. My target audience is aimed at young teenagers, young adults, older adults that are interested in football. With this being a football magazine for women, people who are interested in that area will tend to be attracted to this specific magazine. Even though that the magazine is mainly aimed at female who are interested in football, people who are also interested in football in general will still find this interesting and appealing. Target Audience? (demographic NOT age range) With that in mind, I will also try and make this appealing for little children who are also interested in football in general. Target Audience Needs? The consumer would expect this football magazine to be filled with all football information and it will. To make it clear it will include: - How will your project meet the needs of your target audience? (Make reference to content you think will appeal to your target Front Page (High quality of football stars in the industry of female football) Contents page (this will include all of the information about the magazine. From information about female football, the history etc) Double page article (The article that I will be making will be about the life of two female football stars) My football magazine will have the basic codes and conventions of any football magazine. The only different thing is that the magazine itself will all be about the industry of female football. Like I mentioned before, I will go in depth about the industry of female football. Anyone that has an interest in the sport will find this very appealing.

The production techniques that I will use will be software programs such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe After effects etc. Also I will also produce high quality images that I will include in my magazine. I will need to be aware of what camera shots that I will be using and how effective I would expect them to be to make the shots as appealing as possible. Camera shots that I will expect to use: - Close up shots Medium shots Low angle shot Long shot Extreme close up shots Panning shots
