Shelby Fleming has taken healthcare science courses for the past 3 years and has always been interested in the healthcare profession. For her senior project, she organized a blood drive at her school that was held on November 29th. She worked with her project facilitator Mr. Peacock to contact the local blood donation center, set a date, create signups and permissions forms, make informational posters, and recruit volunteers to sign people up and help on the day of the event.

- 2. Past3 years, I have taken healthcare science. Since I was a young child I have always been interested in the healthcare profession enjoyed working in previous blood drives.
- 3. " My product was a blood drive.
- 4. Talked with Mr. Peacock on 2nd day of school. Mr. Peacock became my project facilitator. November 29th as the date. contacted life south community blood centers and got them set up to come on that date Met with him on several occasions.
- 5. " I wrote emails to administrators and teachers " I wrote emails to the coaches " I wrote emails to ROTC teachers " I wrote emails to the janitor.
- 6. Put together a sign up book. I had to go get copies made of 16 year-old permission forms and tickets to go get students out of class. Made information posters and let school’s morning news know about the blood drive
