This report summarizes the analysis of nonlinear simulated moving bed chromatography (SMB) using Chromworks software, focusing on the successful validation of isotherm modeling and separation conditions for cycloketones. Achieving the desired 96% purity for both extract and raffinate was confirmed through various simulations, while evaluating the software's effectiveness for industrial use. The report also discusses the operational functionalities of Chromworks and highlights the importance of robustness in the design and analysis of chromatography processes.
