(Online Image Purchase and Sales System)
This Project is based on the concept of Stock
Photography. This web application mainly targets
photographers, designers, art workers, etc. Photographers or
Designers can upload their creations or they can even
purchase others creations.
Category:
Relational Database Management System (RDBMS). This
application is developed with the help of PHP and MySQL Server.
Client:
Codequeue Technologies
Pearl Plaza, Kankanady Bypass,
Mangalore – 575006
• Picostica is a stock photography agency website.
• Stock Photography is the word which refers to a supply of existing
photographs that can be arranged and licensed for specific uses.
• Designer’s frequently need stock photos, especially when clients don’t
have high-quality photos of their own. And type of Stock design
resources (like vectors, icons, textures) can save a great deal of time for
designers.
• Selling stock graphic and photos can be an excellent source of residual
income for photographers and graphic designers.
• If anyone is interested in making money from internet selling your lovely
photos, then you would have a better chance to make money with Pic-O-
Stica.
• To provide images at an affordable price.
• To save both time and money by promoting stock photography for
advertisements, books and fliers.
• To provide better platform for photographers to sell their lovely
images.
• To provide Uniqueness in designs.

 The Web Portal will provide functionality to manage the system and the user
information.
 The website is secure because user must enter login details to access images
and other contents.
 The system contains huge records. For that reason search option has been
provided in all pages. So, the search results can be viewed in the grid view.
 The product works online with the help of internet connection.
It is considered that the user do have the basic knowledge of operating the
internet and to have access to it. User needs to have knowledge on digital images and
online payments systems. The administrator is expected to be familiar with the interface
of the tech support system.
General Constraints:
This system is provisioned to be built on the Core PHP which is highly
flexible. Decision regarding which database to use should be taken considering the fact
that the data being exchanged or stored is large, and the appropriate data management
system will yield efficient performance.
Assumption and Dependencies:
 Internet connection is required.
 24X7 uptime server connection required.
 One assumption about the product is that it will always be used on mobile phones that
have enough performance.
 Some details must be entered by the user and may not be generated automatically.

Security:
A valid login name and password is required to connect to MySQL
Server instance.
Backup and Recovery:
MySQL Server database recovery models give backup- and- restore
flexibility. The model used will determine how much time and space
your backups will take and how great your risk of data loss will be
when a breakdown occurs.
Support software available for Maintaining Database:
The system installs MySQL server while installing WAMP software.
The entire backup content is stored in MySQL data folder.

Conclusion
The project titled “Pic-O-Stica Stock Photography Purchase
and Sales System” has been designed and developed in PHP. Many
user friendly window controls are added to make it very user
interactive application. The project is tested successfully and report is
generated. The project has satisfied all the requirements. The
software has been developed in an attractive user interactive fashion.
The software has fulfilled all the objectives identified and provides an
attractive user friendly interface.
Limitations
• Internet connection is required to access this website.
• Basic computer knowledge is required to work on this system.
• Requires knowledge on digital Images.
• Requires knowledge on Online Banking.
Scope for Future Enhancement
As the software is used, the user will recognize additional functions
that will provide benefit. Perceptive maintenance extends the software beyond
its original function requirements. For this particular project, the enhancements
that can be made are:
 In future we can develop and integrate with mobile applications.
 In future we can add instant chat facility between users.
 Currently can upload only images, and in future we can have videos to be
uploaded of different qualities.
 Image based search function can be added in future.

The model used will determine how much time and space your backups will take and how great your risk of data loss will be when a breakdown occurs. Support software available for Maintaining Database: The system installs MySQL server while installing WAMP software. The entire backup content is stored in MySQL data folder.

  • 48. Conclusion The project titled “Pic-O-Stica Stock Photography Purchase and Sales System” has been designed and developed in PHP. Many user friendly window controls are added to make it very user interactive application. The project is tested successfully and report is generated. The project has satisfied all the requirements. The software has been developed in an attractive user interactive fashion. The software has fulfilled all the objectives identified and provides an attractive user friendly interface. Limitations • Internet connection is required to access this website. • Basic computer knowledge is required to work on this system. • Requires knowledge on digital Images. • Requires knowledge on Online Banking.
  • 49. Scope for Future Enhancement As the software is used, the user will recognize additional functions that will provide benefit. Perceptive maintenance extends the software beyond its original function requirements. For this particular project, the enhancements that can be made are:  In future we can develop and integrate with mobile applications.  In future we can add instant chat facility between users.  Currently can upload only images, and in future we can have videos to be uploaded of different qualities.  Image based search function can be added in future.
