At a fraction of the size of a typical PC mother-
board, the InHand FireFly™ the smallest, most energy
efficient, and highest performing, complete solution
for OEM developers of ultra-mobile PCs, mobile In-
ternet devices and other mobile battery-operated
devices. Built around the Intel® Atom™ processor
and System Controller Hub, FireFly can be used by it-
self or with an expansion board for application specific
functionality. As a stand-alone board, FireFly offers
a full range of peripherals including: 6 USB 2.0 Host
ports, USB 2.0 Client port, video output, serial port,
touch screen controller, and microSD slot. Battery
charging and wide voltage power input are available
as well. For expandability, FireFly has a daughter card
connector with industry standard interfaces, such as
PCI express, USB, SMBus and SDIO, making system
integration easy.

Every InHand product is equipped with InHand’s
patented BatterySmart® technology. In addition to low-
power design and component selection, BatterySmart
extends the life of portable and mobile devices through
intelligent use of the processor’s Dynamic Voltage and
Frequency Scaling (DVFS). All aspects of the FireFly’s
hardware and software work together to find the perfect
