Improving communication will help people to be more productive. - #5: Let’s start by considering some of the communication challenges your business faces. Choose one or two of these “pain points” to talk about, based on research on the company. For example: How do you get your products to market quicker – with lower cost. Have you recently gone through a merger and need to unify the organization? More than 65% of mergers fail – why? Due to lack of communication. It is too hard to merge cultures and share information, make people feel involved. Are you expanding rapidly and need to contain costs while keeping everyone on the same page? Are you outsourcing? This can contain many hidden costs – travel, misunderstandings, quality. More and more we are relying on external parties – partners, suppliers, etc. to be in synch with you and to keep to tight specifications and schedules.
