This research report investigates the understanding and practice of flexible learning and teaching provision (FLTP) at the University of the Western Cape (UWC), particularly for non-traditional undergraduate students. Key findings indicate positive shifts towards FLTP supported by institutional policies, but challenges remain due to the binary full-time/part-time system. The study advocates for a common understanding of FLTP across the institution to accommodate diverse student needs and urges leadership to drive organizational change for improved flexibility in education.
