Garrett Munro developed an educational technology project called oomApp to help 10th grade ESL students at an international school in China improve their English communication skills. He used the ADDIE instructional design model which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation phases. The project aimed to have 85% of students demonstrate improved ability to share personal experiences in past tense using descriptive language and active listening skills after a blended online and classroom learning unit.
