 PROCESS STEP Unprotect sheet Enter Process Step and Function 

Step 1:  Select Process Step from drop down list
Step 1:  Function is automatically pulled forward from Process Step database Process Step Database
Step 1:  Double click on View DBS to view the Equipment, machine Database
Step 1:  Dynamic Torque Tool is automatically added to the Database and Chart
Step 1:  To Review your Database you have to Unprotect the Sheet. Prevents unauthorized access.
Step 1:  Databases can be sorted after Reviewing. Add Review Date e.g. zzz Reviewed 02/10/2011
Step 1:  Add Product or Process Requirements
Step 1:  Enter Potential Failure Mode.
Step 1:  A row(s) can be inserted to accommodate Multiple Failure Modes
Step 1:  New row(s) is inserted BELOW cell selected
Step 1:  Items can either be entered or selected from the Database.
Step 1:  Complete Step 1
Step 1:  On Completion of Step 1 proceed to Step 2. Select Innovator Menu > Edit > Step 2

Step 2:  On Completion of Step 2 proceed to Step 3. Select Innovator Menu > Edit > Step 3
Step 3
Step 3:  Columns can be hidden
Step 3:  Select Innovator Menu > View/Analyze > Custom View. Select the Column you want to hide
Step 3:  Measurement method is now Hidden
Step 3:  On Completion of Step 3. You can choose to View/ Analyze FMEA, Control Plans or any other item

Innovator Menu Functions Apply Filters. Innovator Menu > Formatting > Apply Filters
Innovator Menu Functions Apply Filter to evaluate a certain e.g Potential Failure Effect
Innovator Menu Functions Potential Failure Effect filtered by – Rework due to loose seat

RISK REDUCTION
INTEGRATED VERSION (FULL VIEW) The Integrated Version  combines  FMEA Analysis  &  Control Plans  with  Risk Reduction  activities and ensures accurate replication of appropriate Data from FMEA to Control Plan thereby saving up to 50% of  the time utilised in traditional approaches .
Enables improvement approval, target date setting, action recording, as well as accurate  FMEA  updating & review. ACTION PLAN VIEW
Classification   ( Y ) should be used to define potential  Critical Characteristics  and potential  Significant Characteristics. Critical characteristics  ( Y C )  (Characteristics with  a Severity of 9 or 10 ) and are reliant on  DETECTION  should have associated Recommended Actions. Significant characteristics  ( Y S )  ( Severity of 5 -8  &  Occurrence of  4 – 10)  should have associated recommended actions CLASSIFICATION Top 20% of Failure Modes by RPN Failure Modes RPN
Scales can be customized by the User and are available as  Pop Up aids.  T RPN SCALES
Databases  facilitate  User Defined Auto Input  and are available for all applicable Columns.  These can be pre-set by the  FMEA   Facilitator ,  or can be entered “ on the fly ” by the  FMEA Team . DATABASE INTERACTION

Graphical Analysis  verifies  FMEA  integrity and  readily prioritizes areas for potential  Risk Reduction. Analyze   SOD Risk though the  Process Sequence Analyze   SOD Risk in Pareto Format Analyze   Severity ,  Occurrence  &  Detection   Risk though the Process Sequence GRAPHICAL ANALYSIS
Built-in Templates and a blank customizable template to use for information relating to the FMEA TEMPLATES
HELP  is available both for Software Functions and for General FMEA Information. Auto Print Control   pre-selects logical Print Layouts  However, the User has full control  from their  Default  or  Custom  Printer capabilities.  PRINTING & HELP FUNCTIONS
