What is Freelancing
A freelancer or freelance worker is a person
who is self-employed and is not necessarily
committed to a particular employer long term.
3
4
Origin of Freelancing
Freelance was originally
two words, free and
lance, which references
independent workers
and the weapons they
used.
The word first appeared in Sir Walter
Scott’s novel Ivanhoe in 1819:
“I offered Richard the service of my Free
Lances, and he refused them—I will lead
them to Hull, seize on shipping, and
embark for Flanders; thanks to the bustling
times, a man of action will always find
employment.”
5
Work from anywhere
Without being tied to an office work
from anywhere home, coffee shop ,
park or BEACH
Sky is the limit for your Earnings
Unlike a traditional career you
don’t have to wait for salary raises
or bonuses. And you get what you
deserve.
Flexible Schedule
If you want my Saturday to fall on
Tuesday you can make that happen
Fire Bad Clients
If you get stuck with a bad client while
working for someone else, you either
suck it up or quit your job.
You are the Boss
No more Yes sir, Okay Sir
Do whatever you LOVE
As a freelancer, chances are good
that you'll be dedicating your work
to your passion.
Why Freelancing
6
Getting potential Customers
Your client could be your potential customer
for your product
More time to work on Products
When you are not working on
projects or have low workload
you can work on your own
products
Develop your entrepreneurial side
Having some freelancing experience shows that
you can manage projects independently and you
know what it takes to keep clients happy.
Learn from your clients
Learn how your clients are running their
business and their work process.
Why Freelancing

Its too early to start
