Frustration is caused by expectations not being met and is experienced universally, from crying babies to investors waiting for profits. Accepting circumstances as they are rather than expecting more is the first step to reducing frustration. People are often frustrated by their expectations of God, love, and life outcomes. Freedom from frustration comes from releasing expectations and living in the present moment without attachments. Deep love is more likely to develop when people experience life freely without expectations of what love should provide. Reducing expectations through meditation allows one to rise above frustration and enjoy life.
