G321 Final Production - Actor's Script
- 1. Savage (Opening Scene) Script B1 Sophie is walking down a road, talking on her phone. B2 Sophie: B3 Minor pause as she listens to reply. Sophie: Yeah I know mam, I’ll be home soon. Yeah, I remembered. B4 Sophie climbs over the fence, phone still in hand. B5 Sophie: Yes, I’m sure. Another minor pause as she listens to reply. Sophie: Okay, see you soon. Sophie hangs up the phone and begins looking through her bag as she walks. B6 She is still looking through her bag. After afew seconds Sophie hears a twig snap and she turns her head quickly to look in the direction that the noise came from. B7 Sophie looks forward again; she has a worried look on her face as she suspects someone is following her. She begins to walk again, slower than before, but she hears a second noise and B8 turns her whole body around very quickly. She gasps as she does so. She sees nothing but is breathing deeply. M1 She slowly turns back around and begins to walk down the path very slowly. She is looking around her as she walks. M2 Her walk starts to turn into a run. M3 Sophie runs for several seconds. She looks behind her as she runs but as she does so she gets grapped by an unknown person (Jason). Sophie screams. M4 Jason lets go of her and he is laughing. Jason: M5 You should have seen your face! Sophie: That wasn’t funny Jason, you really scared me! Sophie pushes Jason in an angry but playful way. M6 Jason: I’m sorry Sophie; it was only abit of fun. M7 Sophie: Yeah well, don’t you ever do that again! E1 They start to walk together; Sophie is clearly much calmer now that she is with Jason. Jason: Don’t worry, it won’t. (He smiles at her).
- 2. Sophie: (looking away from him) Jason, you weren’t following me were you? Jason: (looking confused) No, I’ve been waiting here for while now. Sophie: (She looks at Jason, she speaks sarcastically) Well, I don’t know if I should be worried, scared or flattered. Jason: I prefer the last option. E2 Sophie laughs mildly. E3 Jason: (Looking serious) Sophie, can I ask you something? They stop walking at turn to look at each other. E4 Sophie: Of course Jason, we’re friends aren’t we? E5 Jason nods in agreement. Jason: I was, well… I was wondering… If maybe you wanted to… E6 Sophie is smiling and looks as though she has been expecting this for a long time. E7 Jason: You know, like – He stops talking suddenly, his eyes go wide and he falls to the ground. Standing behind him is a masked man wielding a large knife. E8 Sophie is terrified, she tries to scream but only silence comes out. She backs away, her breath slow and deep. E9 The killer stands there and watches her panic. His emotions are hidden behind the mask. E10 Sophie quickly runs away, the killer doesn’t even try and stop her – her just stands there motionless. E11 Sophie keeps running, she doesn’t look back. E12 Sophie runs up against a brick wall. E13 She presses against it. She realizes she must go another way and begins to run again. E14 She jumps the fence again. After she jumps it she stumbles slightly. E15 Sophie runs onto a road, she notice the car until she is in it’s headlights. She screams and the scene goes black as the horn of a car and it’s hasty breaking can be heard.
