Gay marriage (same sex marriage)
 Gay marriage, which is also known as same sex
marriage, is the marriage between the people of
the same sex, either in a secular civil ceremony
or religious setting. Many cultures of the same
cultural union are recorded in the history, but the
marriage or similar traditionally similar unions
were rare or neutral in other cultures.
 Gay marriage is a social problem because it
affects the delay of social system. Social
harmony (feeling of neighbor) and social
solidarity (the desire to work together) are
important elements of society's effective
work. • Determining the ethics and boundaries
is an important element that affects social
harmony and social solidarity.
 Most religions consider gay a sin.
 It would further weaken the traditional family
values essential to our society.
 It confuses children about gender roles and
expectations of society, and only a man &
woman can pro-create.
 The first public gay marriage was on
March 7, 2004.
Movie director and producer Kirn-Jho
Gwang-soo received much media
attention.
 A local Urdu-language newspaper said the elder
man, named as Liaquat Ali, had taken a local boy
called Markeen as "his male bride".
 Paper said that the poor parents of the boy
accepted Rs 40,000 (380 pounds) for their sons'
hands.
 Gay marriage is not legal in conservative Muslim
Pakistan.
