Geeky Weekend
Connect developers - Build communities
Create opportunities
The demand
We lack good offline space for developers to meet and
hang around.
Offline meetups are not frequent enough, and only
connect within one particular community.
Online information about opportunities are numerous,
but not filtered and curated.
Solution: Geeky Weekend
A weekly offline gathering of
- developers
- product builders
In order to:
- foster bonding in the community
- encourage sharing of knowledge, and
- help bring and create opportunities
• Habit building:
• Weekly gathering at the same
settings and physical space
• Community-driven:
• Activities by and for all tech
communities
• Engaging
• Welcoming people from
different communities
• Promoting sharing & training
for newcomers
• Promoting opportunities (jobs
& team matching)
