EU has reached a gender balance in PhD graduates
 40-60% women of PhD graduates in all EU countries (2012)
 women PhD graduates numbers generally increase at a faster
rate than the number of men (2002-2012)
 despite improvements since 2004,
women remain under-represented in most narrow fields of
science and engineering

 collect and report to EU data on women’s participation in all project
committees, working groups, research and dissemination activities
 devote a small part of each Project Meeting for discussing gender issues
 liaise with IFMBE WiMBE and other related committees
