Step One First you use the formula of P(x)=p(q)  Where q=1-p. X-1 P(3)= .47 X (.53) 2 X=number caught=3  p=probability=.47 q=1-p=.53
The Answer P(3)= .47 X (.53)  =.132023 So the chance of the statey catching his first teenager on his third person of the day is 13.2% 2 THE END
