This document discusses the transformation of geographic information management through a shift from geometry to data-based relationships, focusing on the Programmable City project and the socio-technological impacts of data and software on urban environments. It highlights the development of a national database for mapping and object modeling in Ireland, examining how these data models influence perceptions and interactions within the city.
