Conclusion • MIS Section ▫ MFD has more number of web applications than MPFD. ▫ MFD became pioneer in providing citizen services online on their portal, MPFD lacking in this • Android/ Mobile Based application ▫ Keen monitoring and record keeping of Plantations, through android app by MFD ▫ Public Participation to plantation is easily traceable using mobile app by MFD. ▫ MPFD takes a lead by application for tribal rights ▫ MPFD takes advantage of ArcGIS toolkit and thus provides various form based applications for data collection using apps. MFD have app only for asset management. • GIS ▫ In some areas MH is leading ( type of data collected, presenting the data, quality and authenticity of data ) ▫ In some areas MP is leading ( Application of GIS like revenue forest dispute settlement of land by rectification) 23
