Global warming is being driven by human activities that release greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere. The top causes are burning fossil fuels for energy, deforestation, and industrial processes. This is leading to rising global temperatures which cause extreme weather, melting ice and sea level rise, and disrupted ecosystems. To address it, we must transition to renewable energy, plant more trees, use sustainable agriculture, and cooperate internationally on emissions reductions and adaptation efforts. Urgent action is needed to curb emissions and build resilience to the climate changes already underway.
