Goliath National Bank announced that in February their financial network was compromised, leaving their systems vulnerable and resulting in an estimated $2 million loss. They hired CYBER SEALS to assess the breach and strengthen security. According to CYBER SEALS, a contractor security guard with ties to hackers was able to introduce malware through e-trading networks, causing a four hour outage. CYBER SEALS responded and the perpetrator has been apprehended. Goliath National Bank has implemented new physical, IT and employee security measures recommended by CYBER SEALS to secure their systems and prevent future incidents.
