God's grace is unmerited favor that He chooses to bestow upon people. God showed grace to Abram by choosing him for a great work and blessing him. He also showed grace to the nation of Israel by favoring them above all other people and making them His special treasure. The ultimate display of God's grace was God giving His only Son, Jesus, so that all who believe in Him will have eternal life rather than face punishment for their sins.
