Dear «couple_salutation»,

On September 28th we celebrated the successful conclusion to our Making Room for
Hope Campaign having secured a new and permanent home for The Center for Grieving
Children. Thank you for incredible support in helping to make that happen. You have
long been a generous friend to The Center. Your leadership is inspiring.

As an agency we were clear in our vision that having a dedicated and thoughtfully
designed space for our community was vital to the continuing success of our mission – to
provide loving support to grieving children, teens, families and the community through
peer support, outreach and education. Now we must turn our attention as a leadership
group to the challenge of ensuring that families in need of our services can attend The
Center, free of charge for as long as they wish.

At the heart of our work here at The Center is the incredible generosity of our volunteers
who respond to the pain and loss shared by our families – their willingness to come each
and every week to support those with the courage to reach out and seek support in our
community is inspiring.

For almost 20 years supporting those volunteers and families has depended upon friends
such as you. Your compassion and leadership in supporting our annual fund demonstrates
your commitment to ensuring that the resources needed to support our work remains in
place each year. This year more than 300 families will attend The Center and more than
3,000 children, teens and families will find support in the wider community from our
staff and volunteers. As demand for our services grow, so too will our need for generous
friends and their support.

Please join me in making a gift to the 2007 Annual Fund Appeal. Your passion for our
mission is exemplary and I hope we can count on your support again.

Sincerely,

Anne Lynch
Executive Director
