Google plans to update its algorithm to incorporate a new factor called 'page experience,' which assesses user interaction on web pages and will be combined with other search signals. Key components include Core Web Vitals such as Largest Contentful Paint (LCP), First Input Delay (FID), and Cumulative Layout Shift (CLS), which evaluate loading performance, interactivity, and visual stability, respectively. Existing signals like mobile-friendliness, safe browsing, HTTPS security, and the absence of intrusive interstitials will still be relevant in the updated algorithm.
