MOST COMMON MISTAKES TO
AVOID DURING G. D.
 TO TAKE INITIATIVE (if your are not well known with
subjects).
 SHOUTING (enough loud speaking is necessary but
don’t shout while speaking).
 SPEAKING LATE during GD (you should not prefer
last speaking candidate).
 REPEATING OTHER’S POINTS again & again.
 ARGUMENT OR STRONG OPPOSE
 NOT LISTENING OTHERS
TO BE CONT…..
 WRONG FACTS & FIGURES
 SPEAKING TOO FAST & TOO SLOW
 INTRRUPTING OTHERS REPEATEDLY
 IRRELAVENT POINTS (do not put irrational point or
don’t divert the topic).
 EMOTIONAL REACTION (don’t show any emotions
during session, like: laugh, sad, hate, anger, or don’t
get personal).
 FAKE ACCENT OF ENGLISH LANGUAGE
TO BE CONT…..
 POOR BODY LANGUAGE (sit straight, don’t yawn,
don’t point finger to others, don’t tapping pen etc.)
 SPEAKING LONG POINTS (don’t take too much time
in one go, give one point at once and then let others
speak then you put another point).
 LOW CONFIDANCE (maintain eye contact, speak
clear etc).
 CONTRADICTORY POINTS (don’t oppose your point
immediately.)
